my favorite person has just turned two!
and, i was fortunate enough to score an invite to his exclusive birthday bash.
let me just say, jordan hosted a rockin' celebration, the likes of which salt lake has not seen since the twilight premier party.
aside from being another excuse to consume excessive amounts of costco cake, this weekend also proved to be a learning experience.
here are just a few "facts of life" i picked up on this weekend:
two years passes by REALLY FAST.
two year olds enjoy the sound of balloons popping a lot more than i do.
you may not be able to get a two year old to speak your name on command (it is the CUTEST thing i've ever heard), but if you tell the wii to stop calling you a "fat ass", he will repeat that.
one hour of wagon rides in not enough. you will be asked for MORE.
eric carle books are more exciting to a two year old than paul frank underwear. but, it's the opposite for adults.
you don't need a fork to eat cake.
it can snow in utah in the spring.
and finally, it is possible to make it from the jett blue ticket counter onto your airplane in exactly 8 minutes, at the salt lake city airport. (that would NEVER happen at the las vegas airport!)

He is truly adorable! i can totally see that he loves YOU the most.
Any day with a Costco cake is a good day. (but seriously, have you tried freezing the chocolate sheet cake? It makes the frosting the consistency of fudge. SO yummy!)
