good idea: persuade someone you really get along with to propose to you.
bad idea: persuade a female someone you really get along with to propose to you. (when neither of you are gay. not that there's anything wrong with that.)
*the ring(s) are made of candy. score!
good idea: invite yourself to dinner with your daughter and her friend (possible new fiance).
bad idea: invite yourself to dinner with your daughter and her friend, when they have to leave early and you get stuck alone at the table, with the bill.
*free dinner for me and heidi. score!
good idea: tell the lovely and talented sara that you're coming to see her star in the hit play, the wizard of oz.
bad idea: tell the lovely and talented sara that you're coming to see her star in the hit play, the wizard of oz, a full week before actually going to see her. Therefore, allowing her to forget you're coming and not feel the need to make an appearance after the show to greet her adoring fans and collect her flowers.
*these lovely flowers are now adorning my desk at work. score!
heidi,
thank you for the ring(s). but i have to say, although i love you, there are people in other places that i love more*. ;)

Wow, you made out like a bandit. PS: I LOVED Good Idea; Bad Idea from Animaniacs!
Hmmm--those rings look like they'll last as long as this so-called good idea/bad idea love:)
I actually think marrying your straight friend is a great idea. Who needs sex anyway?
Ahh! I feel so bad I missed out on those amazing flowers. Thanks for coming to the show, seriously, I can't believe I forgot you were coming on Tuesday. I don't know why I had Wednesday in my head. If you want to come again tonight I promise I'll come out and meet you!
If you give me a ring pop I'll marry you.
good idea..coming and visiting Utah a second time.
bad idea..it's not a bad idea at all
Very funny! I have never seen good idea, bad idea before. Are there more of them?
Please remind Amanda that she is already married. It's official on facebook, that means it is official in real life.
While I think that those flowers are amazing, I think that giant fork and spoon in the background are the most amazing!
Bad ideas are good ideas for you!!LOL!
Nice blog, I live in Las Vegas also.
That brought back memories from Animaniacs...my lil sis LOVED that show. Pretty flowers! Kristina suggested your blog so I thought I would come check ya out! Great blog!
What a fun post! Would things be different if I gave you a ring? hahaha
Come back to SLC, I missed you last time!
Just stumbled across your blog for the first time and of course I have to subscribe when I read your description under the picture about you stalking celebs and politicians. Too funny!
Good idea-coming to Utah for your birthday because I would totally make you a fabulous cake. But I probably won't buy you a tv...our relationship is a little too new for that. ;o)
I didn't comment at first cuz I was confused and it felt like you were talking in code.
I was mesmerized by the ring pops though. I LOVE those. Those and whistle pops. Why can't I outgrow candy??? Especially the REALLY juvenile candy? is it a genetic defect? Psychological psychosis?
Lol, buying a shoot on sale would be bad.
Do you think we are destined to never meet? Do you know how sad I was to realize you were at the lunch and I was in South Dakota? Deep sigh from Utah.
Rychelle... You crack me up!
Jordan wants to merry you, BUT... you must let Your aunt and his Grandma watch you open your gifts!
Hurry back to Utah! We miss you already
Those ring pops are ringtastic! I got married to several people with those when I was a kid (including Tom Cruise and Richard Gere, my childhood crushes, hahaha). They are a cheap and economical alternative during this credit crunch time, for whoever you wish to marry, lol!
I'm glad you've got your head on straight and know the difference between good and bad! LOL! The bad dinner and play scenario suck for those involved :(
